MLM Soft Alternatives Their Published Prices, Next to Ours
If you have priced MLM Soft's cloud platform and the monthly subscription plus the setup fee is more than a launching company can carry, this page is for you. MLM Soft publishes $499, $999 and $1,999 per month plus a one-time setup fee it states "usually varies between $10,000 to $30,000". BizBase.app costs $249 once on the Founders Program, or $99, $499 or $999 per month.
Every statement about MLM Soft on this page comes from mlmsoft.com, checked on 8 August 2026, with the source URL against every row.
How This Comparison Is Sourced
MLM Soft is the only platform we have compared that publishes a structured, numeric subscription table on its own site without asking you to book a call first, which makes this the most substantive comparison we can write. Every statement about MLM Soft below is something MLM Soft publishes about itself, read from its homepage and its cloud-platform subscription page on 8 August 2026, with the URL it came from against each row. We do not repeat third-party price estimates, we do not infer what MLM Soft cannot do from pages we did not read, and where we found nothing on a subject we say that rather than turning silence into an absence.
That cuts both ways. Several rows below are places where MLM Soft publishes something BizBase.app does not, and those rows are in the table for the same reason as the rest. Where one of them decides your purchase, MLM Soft is the better answer and we say so in plain terms further down the page. MLM Soft's own site is the authority on MLM Soft, it may have changed since we read it, and you should check anything that will decide a five-figure commitment.
One thing to get straight before you compare anything
Three vendors in this market carry confusingly similar names. This page is about MLM Soft at mlmsoft.com, whose own site names its operating entity as MLM Software Inc. of Jacksonville, Florida. It is a different company from Cloud MLM Software at cloudmlmsoftware.com and from MLMTrees at mlmtrees.com. None of the prices on this page belong to either of those two, and nothing on this page is drawn from their sites. If you are comparing quotes, confirm which of the three you are actually talking to.

| Dimension | What MLM Soft publishes | BizBase.app | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published subscription tiers | Startup at $499 per month for up to 300 income centers, Community at $999 per month for up to 1,000, Network at $1,999 per month for up to 3,000, and Enterprise with unlimited income centers priced by contact ("Let's Talk"). | $249 one-time on the Founders Program, or $99 / $499 / $999 per month, shown on /pricing. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |
| One-time setup fee | States a separate one-time setup fee that "usually varies between $10,000 to $30,000", scoped through a discovery call and then a fixed-price quote. | No setup fee, no onboarding fee and no implementation fee. The figure on the pricing page is the figure charged at checkout. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |
| How the price scales | Usage-based: "Our subscription pricing depends on a number of accounts in your network… The more distributors you have the less you pay for each." Only accounts with commercial activity in the last 3 months are counted. | The price does not scale with distributor count at all. Founders get unlimited distributors, products and storage for the single $249 payment; the monthly plans carry fixed limits rather than per-head charges. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |
| What the entry tier includes | The Startup plan is explicitly limited to one currency or wallet type, one compensation tree and one administrative user. | The Founders entry point is not feature-limited by tier: unlimited distributors, products and storage, with the full admin dashboard. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |
| Compensation plan algorithms named | Unilevel, Breakaway, Binary, Hybrid and Matrix. | Binary, unilevel, matrix, party plan and hybrid, configurable from the admin dashboard. See compensation plans. | mlmsoft.com |
| SMS messaging | The SMS Gateway is billed separately from the subscription, at "as little as $0.1 per message". | SMS campaigns run from the admin dashboard through carrier email-to-SMS gateways, and BizBase.app bills nothing per message. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |
| Published integration work | The blog is structured as dated "Client Case" posts describing specific technical integrations, including Twilio Verify for OTP delivery, a move to the PayQuicker API, and a Zapier integration. | No equivalent per-client integration case series is published. BizBase.app publishes buyer-facing guides instead. | mlmsoft.com |
| Who you are contracting with | The company entity is MLM Software Inc., 5011 Gate Parkway, Bldg 100, Jacksonville, Florida 32256, United States. | BizBase.app, sold directly as hosted SaaS with an isolated database per company. Checkout is self-serve; there is no contract to negotiate. | mlmsoft.com |
| Deployment model | Presented as a SaaS "cloud platform" with usage-based subscription pricing, with tiers keyed to active-account count rather than to industry. | Hosted SaaS on PHP 8.4, Laravel 12, Livewire and Tailwind CSS, with each company on its own isolated database. | mlmsoft.com/cloudplatform/subscription |

What the Published Numbers Add Up To
Because MLM Soft publishes real figures, the arithmetic below is arithmetic and not an estimate. Twelve months on their published Startup rate of $499 per month is $5,988 in subscription. Their stated setup fee of $10,000 to $30,000 is charged once on top of that, so a first year at the entry tier lands between $15,988 and $35,988 in platform cost before any SMS charges, which they bill separately. Move up to Community at $999 per month and the subscription alone is $11,988 a year; Network at $1,999 is $23,988.
BizBase.app's Founders Program is $249, paid once, and it does not become a subscription later. If you would rather pay monthly, the plans are $99, $499 and $999, and the $99 plan carries no setup fee either. That is the honest shape of the gap: it is not a few percent, it is a different order of magnitude, and it exists because the two platforms are sold to different buyers in different ways.
One structural difference is worth understanding rather than scoring. MLM Soft's model charges by network size and counts only accounts with commercial activity in the last three months, so a large dormant list does not inflate the bill and a fast-growing active network does. BizBase.app's Founders price is fixed regardless of how many distributors you sign, so growth changes your revenue without changing your software bill. Which model is better depends entirely on the shape of your network, not on which vendor you like.
MLM Soft Is the Better Choice
- You want a scoped, fixed-price implementation. MLM Soft's setup fee is not a hidden charge, it is a product: a discovery call that produces a fixed-price quote for building your configuration. If you want a vendor to own implementation and commit to a number for it, that is exactly what they sell, and BizBase.app does not sell it.
- You run a breakaway plan. MLM Soft names Breakaway among its compensation-plan algorithms. BizBase.app publishes binary, unilevel, matrix, party plan and hybrid. If your plan is a stairstep breakaway, they document the algorithm and we do not.
- You need a specific third-party integration built and want evidence they build them. Their blog is a run of dated client cases naming the actual work — Twilio Verify for OTP delivery, moving a client to the PayQuicker API, a Zapier integration. That is a more concrete engineering signal than a logo wall, and if PayQuicker or Twilio is on your requirements list they have already published doing it.
- You want capacity stated per tier before you talk to anyone. Their table says 300, 1,000 and 3,000 income centers against each price, so you can work out which tier you land in without a call. Of the platforms we have compared, MLM Soft is the only one that lets you do that, and it deserves credit for it.
- You are past 3,000 active income centers. Their Enterprise tier is defined as unlimited income centers with pricing by contact. At that size a negotiated enterprise agreement, with an implementation team attached, is a legitimate way to buy — and a $249 one-time product is not the obvious answer to a network that large.
BizBase.app Is the Better Choice
- The setup fee is the blocker. A $10,000 to $30,000 one-time charge is the single largest line item a launching company faces on their published pricing. BizBase.app has no setup fee at any price point, so the first cheque is $249 rather than five figures. Our numbers are on the pricing page.
- You are under 300 distributors and would still pay the entry tier. Their Startup plan is $499 a month whether you have 12 income centers or 300, and it is limited to one currency, one compensation tree and one admin user. At that size the monthly bill is the same as our Business plan while the entry tier is narrower.
- You need more than one admin from day one. Their Startup tier states one administrative user. If a founder, an ops lead and a support person all need access, that constraint bites immediately, and BizBase.app does not tier admin access.
- You are launching rather than migrating. A new company can configure its plan, catalog, branding and distributor portal and be live in days, with no discovery call to schedule and no implementation to scope first.
- You want to be able to change your mind. BizBase.app carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, so an evaluation costs you a month rather than a scoped implementation you have already paid for.
$249 Once, or From $99 a Month
The Founders Program is a single payment of $249 for unlimited distributors, products and storage, capped at 1,000 spots. The monthly plans are Regular Member at $99, Business at $499 and Enterprise at $999.
No setup fee, no per-distributor charge, no per-message charge. Put that next to a published $499 a month plus a $10,000 to $30,000 setup fee and decide with both numbers in front of you.
What Moving an Existing Company Involves
Switching platforms mid-cycle is the risk that stops most companies. This is how the transition is structured.
BizBase.app's enterprise migration path runs 8 to 16 weeks from discovery to cutover, depending on how complex your compensation plan is and how clean the source data is. The stages are:
- 1.Discovery and plan modelling, 2 to 4 weeks. Your plan is rebuilt in the commission engine and run against historical cycles you already have payout records for.
- 2.Data migration with reconciliation, 3 to 6 weeks. Distributors, customers, genealogy and transaction history move across and are reconciled record by record.
- 3.Parallel run, one to two commission cycles. Both systems calculate the same cycle and every payout is compared before anything is switched off.
- 4.Cutover at a quiet point in the cycle, with the field communication planned in advance.
No cutover happens until both sides agree the numbers reconcile. If they do not reconcile, the migration does not proceed.
Questions About Switching From MLM Soft
Two Published Prices, Side by Side
You already know what MLM Soft charges, which is more than most vendors in this market will tell you. Read our pricing page, check your structure against compensation plans and the full MLM software feature list, then pick a plan or walk through your comp plan on a demo. If you are still shortlisting, the MLM software comparison widens the field and the Epixel alternatives page covers the quote-gated end of the market, and Cloud MLM Software alternatives covers a vendor that sells a one-time licence rather than a subscription.
